Kristen shares how she first came to know about the Bee, how she joined the team and the work that they are doing to provide a space online to find community.

Meet Kristin

Kristin Oren is the Community Manager of The Babylon Bee’s subscriber community and a freelance editor. After a short career in engineering and many years as a stay-at-home mom, one day in 2019, Kristin stumbled upon an article from The Babylon Bee and was immediately hooked. Starting out as a subscriber, she has served as a typo fixer, headline generator, occasional writer, proofreader of The Sacred Texts of the Babylon Bee, and editor of The Postmodern Pilgrim’s Progress by Bee editors Kyle Mann and Joel Berry. Kristin has also proofread and edited several other books and the blog Res Ipsa. Kristin and her husband have two grown children.
